This programme is designed to prepare students for the demands of A-Level Spanish by developing the advanced linguistic and analytical skills required for high performance. Through a structured and intensive approach, students consolidate core grammar while progressing to more complex structures, enabling them to communicate with accuracy, fluency, and sophistication.
By the end of the programme, students will:
Demonstrate a secure command of essential A-Level grammar and structures
Express ideas clearly using complex, accurate language
Confidently approach A-Level translation, writing, and speaking tasks
Engage critically with cultural and social topics in Spanish
Be fully prepared to transition into (or excel within) A-Level study
Students will leave with measurable progress, increased confidence, and a clear academic advantage.
This is a rigorous and fast-paced programme, and consistent engagement is essential to achieve the intended outcomes. Students are expected to attend all sessions, participate actively, and complete all assigned work both during and outside of lessons.
Independent practice is a key component of A-Level success; therefore, students are encouraged to regularly engage with additional materials and contribute to the WhatsApp group to reinforce learning and develop fluency. A proactive, disciplined approach is expected at all times.
Students should approach the course with focus, ambition, and a willingness to challenge themselves in order to maximise progress.
Students are expected to maintain a professional, respectful, and academically focused attitude throughout the programme. This includes punctual attendance, active participation, and respectful communication with both the tutor and peers across all learning environments, including live sessions and the WhatsApp group.
The course is designed to replicate a high-performing academic environment. Any behaviour that disrupts learning, limits participation, or undermines this environment will not be tolerated.
Failure to meet these expectations may result in removal from the programme.
