My name is Dylan Fillingham. As a Cambridge University student studying Arabic and Persian, I have developed a deep appreciation for the power of language—not only as a tool for communication, but as a gateway to understanding culture, perspective, and the wider world. Alongside my studies, I have spent several years tutoring Spanish and Portuguese to students of all ages, helping them build confidence and achieve tangible progress in their language learning. This summer programme has been designed to offer students a unique opportunity to engage with Spanish in a structured, intensive, and highly supportive environment. Unlike traditional classroom settings, the course places a strong emphasis on active speaking, clear grammatical understanding, and real-world application. Over four weeks, students will develop a solid foundation aligned A level Spanish, while also gaining the confidence to express themselves more fluently and accurately.
