4-Week Intensive Online Spanish Programme 2026
A-Level Preparation & Transition Course

This intensive online programme is designed for ambitious students moving from GCSE to A-Level (Year 11 → Year 12), as well as current A-Level learners aiming for top grades.

In just four weeks, you’ll bridge the gap between GCSE and A-Level—mastering core grammar while developing the advanced structures, vocabulary, and analytical skills needed to excel. Through live lessons, focused practice, and expertly designed materials, you’ll build fluency, precision, and the confidence to perform at a high level across speaking, writing, reading, and translation.

However, the course is open to all learners of Spanish, regardless of whether you are a UK student. All learners from the public are welcomed by us!

Course Structure

Break Period Project

During the two-week break, students will complete a short independent research project (approximately 500 words, in English). This can be combined also with a creative format—such as a written piece, video, poster, or visual presentation—and should explore a topic related to Spanish or Latin American culture.

The aim is to encourage independent learning, cultural exploration, and deeper engagement beyond the classroom which will prepare students for the A level Speaking IRP Project (independent research project). This project will complement the course content and enrich students’ experience in the second interval.

Project Competition

To recognise outstanding work, a competition will be held, with winners announced in the final week of the programme:

First Prize: Full course reimbursement + 1 free 1:1 lesson private online session

Second Prize: 50% course reimbursement

Please note: Prize eligibility is limited to students enrolled in both intervals of the programme.

Daily Schedule

The morning and evening sessions cover the same core A-Level material; however, evening sessions place greater emphasis on consolidation, exam-focused practice, and applying advanced structures introduced earlier in the day. This dual-session model is designed to offer flexibility while reinforcing rapid progression. Although attendance at both is not compulsory, it is strongly recommended to maximise improvement and fully embed A-Level content and skills.

This programme recognises that success at A-Level extends beyond grammar and vocabulary to include cultural and contextual understanding. Students engage with key themes from Spanish and Latin American society—such as social issues, cultural identity, traditions, and contemporary life—developing the analytical skills required for A-Level study. This deeper engagement enhances linguistic precision, strengthens speaking and essay performance, and enables students to communicate with greater sophistication and authenticity.

For students looking to accelerate their progress even further, there is the opportunity to book private 1:1 tuition sessions alongside the programme.

These sessions are designed to provide highly personalised support, allowing students to:

Each session is tailored to the individual student’s needs, making it an excellent way to reinforce learning and achieve rapid improvement.

Price: £25 per hour

Due to the intensive nature of the programme and limited availability, these sessions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are expected to be in high demand.
